India! What does India mean to u? It’s just the underdeveloped country with the tribal peoples. Isn’t it? But it’s not the same. India is the country with the great moral values and a developing country. Here people use the idea of “ World As A Family” The people here have a great moral values. The relations here are divine. The marriage is considered as the divine relation. Women are given respect.

India is a secular state. All the religions here are same. All live with each other very peacefully. They celebrate the festival of any religion with equal fun. They respect all the religions. All think other as their family member. Yea! Its true that some people had did the things that can be against it but all the people are not same.

India is covered with water bodies from the three sides. In the west there is Arabian Sea, in the east there is Bay of Bengal and in the south there is Indian Ocean. In the northwest side of India, there is Pakistan and Afghanistan. In the northeast side there is China and Nepal.

From the ancient time onwards Indians like peace. So they try to solve all the disputes with peace. But sometimes when the opposite side is out of limit India taught them a good lesson. Pakistan, Afghanistan & Tibet was the part of India. India was the richest country of ancient times. So many countries tried to imperialism India. But British people were succeeded in imperialism India. They came for trade and then started East India Company. They bought goods from India at lower prices and sell it at higher prices to England and India too. India was exploited economically & socially. They were treated as slaves. There were boards in the public places in which it was written, “Dogs & Indians are not allowed”. But after 200 years India were free from the British Rule. But the worst thing British did was the partition between India & Pakistan. Many innocent died in the partition and many revolutionaries had given their lives for freedom of India. India got Independence on 15th August 1947.

The main problems for India in today’s world are Corruption, Unemployment, Population, and Illiteracy. If India is free from these four evils then India can be the one of the best country of world.

There are many people here who are corrupt. They take extra money from people for completing their work and this way they exploit them. Actually you know there is one proverb in Hindi and its really suitable now. That is “ 100 me se 99 baiman, to hi hai mera BHARAT Mahan” Its just me that there are 99 cheaters from 100 Indians and that’s why my India is great.

Population increase and Unemployment is like the two sided of the coin. If Indian government gets success in taking control the population then automatically the problem of unemployment will be under control. Population of India is increasing day by day with a tremendous rate. Therefore the employment chances and per capita income is also becoming less. So thou having the good resources the India are not able to overcome their economic position.

The most of people were illiterate in the ancient India but nowadays the rate if illiteracy is also going up. That’s good but then too its now there are many people too who don’t know to write their name too. Due to illiteracy the educated people are able to cheat these kinds of people. They can be easily cheated. And as they are uneducated they don’t know their rights and duties so they cannot be useful to the nation anyway. If they are literate they can understand the problems of India and try to solve this problems. If they were educated then they can know about the population problem.

Now the Indians are going towards the western culture. That’s good. But one must not forget his own culture and everything. I don’t say that don’t go for that culture, they are bad and ours is only good. There must be combination of our and foreign culture. Its will help u a lot.

And now from socially if we come to side of defense then Indian army force and naval force are one of the best in the world. The people of India are fearless and can handle the hardest situation very well. Indians are always ready to give up their life if its make any change for the country. And the history is the evidence that many Indians had given away their life for the freedom of country. Indians have great patriotic feeling towards their country.

Now to the emotional field, Indians are very emotional. They are attached to their family till their death and the marriage is given the divine status. Women had been given the respect too. Nowadays women are also doing business and their share for the progress of the country is equal as of men.

I think its enough information for you about India. I think by this you can know something about India. Thanks for giving me your valuable time for reading this. This is India from the eyes of a 16-year-old teen. So it would not be too perfect view but it can ideally give u a fair picture of where India stands.
