What Lacks in this email client
Well I have machine with PII 233 MHz processor and 64 MB RAM and this email client sure requires a lot of resource for it’s functioning, which my machine fails to give.
Not that this software does not work on my machine, but this software works too slow and thus takes a lot of time.So if you have a low end machine, please don’t take a plunge.
The next problem I have noticed is that suppose now I have set a timeout function after a specific interval and my connection is slow, then if this software fails to check the mail first time and the timeout function has triggered, the I have to restart the software so that I can download my email.
Although Eudora used to perform this better, if I would instruct Eudora to check the email after time-out and my connection was good then it would download the messages which Incredimail fails to do.
Also the Download speed of message in Incredimail is very slow compared to Eudora and Mozilla Mail!.
Conclusion
Incredimail sure is a great piece of software and the numbers of downloads it has undergone from download.com surely states that, and why not who would like to have animations included in their email.
Incredimail according to me has taken a nice step to proceed to Animation, but ADS and lack of better supports seem to be a problem which on the Premium users can get.
Also the high resource consumed makes it slower on lower machines, if the team of Incredimail can figure out a way to solve this, then this products has definitely the thing to reach the top.
