My daughter 3 years old was admitted in this hospital for intravenous treatment of tonsillitis. It was 8 pm when after consultation with dr. It was advised us to admit her immediately for further treatment. After 2 hrs doing all the paperwork, she was shifted to ward. After 15 minutes we were called for inserting cadula in her hand. There were four ladies including Dr. And three staff nurses. I was told to wait outside the room meanwhile they took my daughter inside.
After few minutes I started hearing her screams, I was unable to understand what is going on inside, still trusting them professionally I waited outside few minutes thinking that maybe my daughter is getting fearful of insertion of casual. When her screams didn't stop I knocked on the door continuously then a few minutes later they opened the door complaining that your daughter is not supporting in the insertion of needle. I asked them what you expect from a three year girl just forwarding her hand in front of you to insert cadula, you were four people inside, is this the way you treat a child, my daughter was extremely scared and short of breath, I calmed her down and asked her what happened inside, she told me they were inserting needles again and again, when I looked at her hands I saw 4-5 insertion holes in her veins of hands.
I went to that lady dr. And asked her don't you have kids, is this the way you treat a child who is already in pain and inserting needle 4-5 times and still failing it proves your inability as a professional. They said ok if I am unhappy with the procedure of treatment then they will call a surgeon from I.C.U and this time it will be done rightly, considering the situation of my daughter I'll health and high fever situation, I still have them a second chance, when this surgeon came I requested them that please let me be in and I assure you that my daughter will get it done without any fuss, she is a little girl and will be consoled with my presence, in a very rude manner by that surgeon I was told that this will hamper his working style and he will not be comfortable in doing the process in front of me.
I moved out from the room helpless again after a few minutes I started hearing her screams. Little girl was pleading to them why you are inserting needles again and again in my hands, please stop it... With a stone on my heart, I waited for the procedure to get over. In those horrible 10 minutes with every scream of my daughter, they were taking away my life too. When unable to bear more I again knocked on the door to please open it and when they opened the door, I saw my daughter both hands bleeding, still they were unable to insert cadula and in the process they pricked her hands with needles 4-5times again... What for on the name of treatment... Injuring her, torturing her, kids are like little flowers needs to be handled with care and affection or with brutality like this.
I took her out, called my husband and decided to leave without treatment in this hospital where there is no humanity left. I was in shock, my daughter was in pain and injured already unwell and now with this terror fear... Inconsolable... How can they be pardoned? After all this, they had the guts to say we will sanitize her and give her cadula now. Enough it was, more than the money they deducted from the advance amount they took for a deposit, I came outside paying 4000 rs to these heartless people for giving my daughter a fear for a lifetime.
I don't recommend this hospital to any parent neither for OPD nor for treatment because if they don't know how to treat a three-year child with empathy they are not professional enough to be handed over our dear child for further treatment.
