I ordered a Morphy Richards coffee maker through imint (now payback).
Machine was defective, did not work even once, actually was even unsafe (steam leaking through the water inlet instead of the intended steam outlet).
I called Payback, customer support said they would send someone to pick up the faulty product. No one came on the agreed date and then for the next several days. I made 4-5 calls to them and had to explain the same thing to them everytime about the product defect and also about the fact that pick up was promised. No one came even in the next several days, a total of about 12 days.
Finally on threatening consumer court action, they called me and still tried to pressurise me to seek warranty, to which I refused. Finally, they agreed to pick up the product and replace. Hoping it will be done in the next two days, but not sure.
Basically they are an unprofessional outfit, wonder how they are running. Wonder how ICICI Bank is allowing them to continue as their partner.
