The industry and the economy can not survive without 'Down to earth approach' and projects/manufacturing bias. IIM calcutta to certain extent fulfill the need of providing managerial training in hard core areas. Worthy mentioning very capable and excellent faculty, I am impressed with the institute's manufacturing and project management streangth, which I feel is of prime importance to India.The faculty is excellent and ready to help and has wide industrial exposure. Located at Kolkata one can have the best and toughest exposure to real life industry.
