No Brushing buisness. Review on IFB Executive Plus

Its been  a log time me writing a review, finally I got something to really rave about...Yes its my IFB washing machine. History of how I bought this washing machine :

After giving retirement to our 68 year old washing mama, we were in search of some one who can help us in kepping our clothes clean, after making several attempts with few washer women/men we were not satisfied as like our earlier Mama, so my mom decided to go for a washing machine, finally the only household item we were missing all these days....

Now as usual I started of with my market analysis, the contenders were

Whirlpool

Samsung

IFB

Videocon

Shortlistedcandidates were

IFB

Whirlpool

Videocon was rejected because our entire family hated the Advertisement ( ! ), samsung was rejected since we thought

of trying something different (My A/c, fridge, TV is samsung and we are satisfied with them, so far no repairs)

Why whirlpool?

Good ad, good word of mouth within public, reasonable price.

Whynot IFB ?

No good word of mouth, expensive

Justification:

i would like to bring in yamaha as an example all yamaha bike did not reach every once, but RX 100 still has a place in everyones heart, similarly all IFB models are bit problematic except for one, want to know....Keep reading..!!

Now selection :

On my carefull analysis I discovered whirlpool seem to be good than IFB models, however the intersting part was one model "IFB executive plus"seem to be rock solid problem and very much reliable compared to its lower and higher model and moreover stemwash was not an option in whirlpool.

Finally I discussed with couple of stores ( Vasanth & Co, Viveks, next, Jainsons...)every one said Whirlpool is better than IFB, except this IFB ex.plus.

To my surprise my company laundry ( I work for top s/w company) was using Same IFB ex.plus where the results were Exceptional with my clothes

Few more advantages were, you can use salt water for washing as it has a coverter (1200extra), hope you people agree with water scarcity in chennai, lot of my friends said washing machine gives good quality if it is a front loader as the circlurar motion is more lengthier than the TOP loader.

After checking rates in differnt oulets I found jainsons to be the chepest at 17800 + 3000 installtion (Vasanth 19800+3200, Viveks 18800+3000, next 18300+3000) and other good facts I chose jainsons was they was very honest they told me you might have to wash your collar to get better results but others were trying just to push the product and also recommended for whirlpool which had all features except steam wash and front loading option..

When I was about to swipe my card the sales ex showed me another brand which needs no collar wash, it was "SIEMENS"but sucks 35k, so it was rejected as well, finally I took home IFB.

IFB First day:

We decided to try our dirty clothes with him, Surprise...!! the clothes were dam hot and was very clean, intresting fact was we never brushed the collar but still it was so clean and neat, hmmm...!!

In my experience I would say this is the only washing machine that can wash so clean clothes without brushing collar,

As the days went........

The machine still seems to do a good job for the past 8 months, the notable features are

>clothes dont stink even when you leave it in the machine for more than 24 hours after wash

>No irritating repeated siren after the wash is completed

>clothes have a nice aroma and seem to fresh and colors do not get affected ( may be this is        because we use Surf excel)

>No collar brushing buisness,

>Facility to reduce RPM for silk cloths, clothes are clean but still chumki's and glitters remain as such...

Cons :

Tough its a good brand and though I dont have any issues so far there are few complaints about it..

No good word of mouth ( this is because of other IFB models)

Bit expensive (Ofcourse quality have a price)

No good service ( No comments since I have not experienced any trouble with it so far)

Conclusion:

Dear friends if you just need a quality washing machine at affordable price please go for whirlpool, but if you wantsome freshness, richness in your clothes and if your purse is bit bulky go for IFB.

I myself dont recommend other models in IFB except for this executive plus which has "0" maintainence....
