First and foremost, I'm a big fan of Durjoy's last novel Till the last breath, and went ahead reading this novel, while on a trip to Nagpur, and found the novel to be quite matured and ably handled love story by Durjoy who continued his good work again.
The story is a based on a Delhi Blast incident, in which Deb's heavily injured. He got a torn dairy, and he went on a national hunt for the torn pieces of the love story, with Avantika and his friend, and an irritating girlfirend of his friend. As the story unfolded, many turn and twist and the novel finally ended in a happy note. Who was that, who was burnt, is the real twist and make the climax interesting.
The novel is slightly slower at times. Most of the scenes ended up being repetitive as his previous novels. But still the narration keeps you interested till the end. Durjoy has evolved quite well as a writer in his last few novels. He has kept his quirky styled writing intact but giving now some depth to the stories.
You'll love it. So, go for it.
