On accepting an ofer for a No Income Proof Personal Loan of 75% the original offer, I was turned down without giving me any reason. The B H aid that he was just back from vacation and he would get back soon. My follow up letter is below:
Dear Mr. Rahul Mallick, [Business Head - Personal Loans - ICICI-Bank]
I have again waited & waited . This is the THIRD DAY after YOU said you were back.
All I have to say is ''I am sorry that a BIG personality needs so much time to take a tiny decision.'' to reply stating why you ordered your staff to :
1.nose into my savings account, [as per your staff, ICICI Bank does this for all customers]
2.calculate how much fund I was receiving during the past year,
3.calculate the amount of loan I could be given,
Send me an attractive letter of offer for a Personal Loan available to me ‘without any Income Proof.’
Fix the term and interest of re-payment.
6.fix a deadline for applying for the loan.
- Finally when the application for a loan is accepted by your customer in Good Faith, you reject the application without giving any reason,
Surely as ICICI BANK - Business Head of Personal Loans You ought to be aware that :
1)THIS AMOUNTS TO ''INVASION OF YOUR CUSTOMER'S PRIVACY'' & IS A CRIMINAL OFFENCE.
2)THIS TANTAMOUNTS TO ''INSULTING AN INNOCENT CUSTOMER'' AND IS ''UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTISE''.
3)THIS ALSO TANTAMOUNTS TO ''HARRASMENT OF AN INNOCENT CUSTOMER'' WHO WOULD ACTUALLY BE CONTRIBUTING TO THE PROFITS OF ICICI-BANK.
Even the smallest of CoOperative Banks will not treat its Customers in such an Unethical & Insulting way. Why then does the Reputed ICICI-Bank act and accept this Degrading method of Harassing an Innocent Customer ?
