Researching a lot on buying a new vehicle for replacement of my Chevy Enjoy 2015. Luckily sold it before the GM exit news from INDIA! Even though incurred losses managed by getting a 2016 DEC HYUNDAI GRAND I10 sportz model. Registered 2017 may. Got the vehicle luckily with some huge discount compensating the losses made by chevy!
crank him he just dances initially but once you press the throttle he turns butter smooth. Excellent driveability inside city. Only issue is the side markers in the mirror as i'm not used to driving with them. Came to know if any damage in the side marker replacement cost around 13000 Rs per mirror.
To be honest this as improved my driving to a disciplined and responsible driving!
The rear seat is just awesome as there is a lot space under the front seats to rest your foot. Only disadvantage what I found is the cushioning effects on the seats are very poor. I felt same when I TD Datsun Go. Horrible seat quality in datsun. But a leather seat cover should solve the problem in Grand i10. Lots of storage space here and there to keep mobiles tickets, water bottles. Also the rear AC is not that effective but yet useful.
Ingress and engress from the driver seat is a pain since used to chevy enjoy high raised ingress/engress. Build quality is just average and not at comparable with Elite i20. Elite i20 here is just a tank.
As of now i've completed 700 kms. Will keep you posted soon after the first service!
Yes you might be eager to know the mileage yes but its a suspense. Will let you know soon as mostly he is just roaming in and around city.

Reached 2000kms. Completed 1500kms service. Average kms 17/18kmpl.
Service cost: 0 Under chassis painting: 1940Rs.
Can any body tell me how much is reserve fuel tank capacity for diesel Grand i10.

I've clocked now 11k kms. Did the second service at DSC hyundai Chennai. Really pathetic service and now the car is really behaving like driving a 1lac driven INDICA. The dynamics are very bad. Planning to now adjust the suspension to stiffer and my god the engine noise and road noise inside the cabin after the service has gone too high. There is a lot of vibration inside the car.
Really now I feel lack of comfort in driving long hours. I fell fatigue in highway driving within a few hundred kms due to the high beam straightly hitting your eyes. I dont know whether its because previously in enjoy I really used to ENJOY the driving posture and has driven in single driver 10hrs with fatigue equivalent to driving 4hrs in Grand i10.
Seriously there are issues in suspension, engine vibration, NVH levels are very high after 10k. Need to check these.
