Starting with the design, At the back of the device we have a two-tone design similar to the pixel devices, but the back is made of plastic.
It also has a triple rear camera setup and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
In the front, we have a full-on screen display with a pop-up selfie camera on the top, we still have a little bit of chin on this device so as to have some space while swiping up.
The speaker grill can be found inline with the top bezel.
At the bottom we have a 3.5mm Audiojack and a USB type-c port and a single downward speaker.
DISPLAY:
-If you are someone who likes to consume media on your phone all day without any unobstructed display at a budget point so this is the phone you are looking for,
It has an LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, (16M colors) display which gives a less better contrast as compared to the OLED screen.
In terms of display protection, we don't get anything officially on this device so if you aren't satisfied with the protection in the box you have to snap a better screen protector.
As usual from Huawei, the speakers of the device aren't that good, for a larger device the sound that comes from its speaker makes it feel small.
PERFORMANCE:
-It comes with Android 9.0(Pie); EMUI 9.1, Hisilicon Kirin 710F(12 nm)Chipset, Octa-core(4x2.2 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4x1.7 GHz Cortex-A53), Mali-G51 MP4 GPU.
emu i9 is a pretty straightforward UI that gives some helpful tips for a new consumer to the interface.
Intensive gaming on this device can be further improved but gaming at regular intervals makes no difference.
It comes with a 4, 000mAH battery with no fast charging,
the fingerprint scanner is pretty reliable which is the only biometric security on this device apart from the password.
It is much better than the in-display finger in terms of accuracy.
CAMERA:
-On the rear side, we have a camera set-up with
16 MP, f/1.8, (wide), PDAF,
8 MP(ultrawide),
2 MP, f/2.4, depth sensor,
And on the front side we have
Motorized pop-up 16 MP, f/2.0,
The shadows and lights of the pictures are very contrasty with pretty good sharpness.
It doesn't do well in the night, even with the night mode on, so it kinda bit disappointing.
The portrait selfie is okay, it isn't that accurate but it handles the task.
The video quality is pretty much usable, especially in the lighting condition.
In conclusion, if you wanted to get a big unobstructed display phone with a good battery life and better UI on a budget, then this is the phone which you should be looking for.
