Why all the fuss about this guy I just don't get it. Everybody keeps saying what a great actor this guy is, but just tell me how exactly is that true at the moment. Besides from koi mil gaya, this guy gives us a perfect example of how not to act. What I hate about the guy is his tendency to overact, in nearly every ten minutes of a film he keeps crying and it just gets on my nerves.
Lets review each of his acting performances:
Kaho na pyar hai - ok decent performance although I didn't see what was so great about the film.
Yaadein - crap movie, unbearable acting from everybody except jackie, kareena definitely stole the show according to bad performances, hrithik's constant bawling left him just behind.
Mission kashmir - hrithik stood out to be a complete idiot, crying like a momma's boy every ten minutes.
Fiza- didnt do much, and he sucked anyway.
Mujse dosti karoogi- hated every scene with hrithik and kareena together, infact I hated every scene which included hrithik, why, because he normally has to pose like a twat. I hated the scenes when he kept crying to rani ''kya samaj kar tumne mera saath khel khela hai pooja'' I hated every bit of it.
Kkkg - pathetic acting, yet again hated the scenes with him and kareena. the constant bawling every emotional scene came up was again irritating.
Koi mil gaya- fabolous, outstanding and an award winning performance from hrithik.
Me prem ki diwani- absolute ghatia and bakwas film and absolute ghatia acting from hrithik and kareena, even abhishek did better despite a minor role. as usual hrithik and kareena simply unbearable in every scene together, hrithik's pathetic romantic acting and karreena's crappy facial expressions, hrithik yet again continously posing like a bevakoof. completely undoing his work in koi mil gaya.
Lakshya - going for a new character, but just dissapointing as usual.
If there were more films he starred in don?t worry he probably sucked anyway.
Get over yourselves people the only reason why he is so popular and overratedis because of his looks and dancing skills, thats what makes you famous in bollywood for some people.
Just look at salman and kareena, so many people talk about this lot, why do they do that,because they get alot of movies, why, because they're good looking, what happens when they get alot of movies, they become popular, what happens when they become popular, people are under the mistaken belief that they are very good actors.
Think about it people if Hrithik had another guy's looks with the same acting and dancing skills as he does right now, would he last in the industry,I doubt it, why is that because he does not have great acting skills. Everybody says he's great, if he is great then why does he only have one hit film from the ten or so movies that he's done, srk was getting the same amount of praise as this guy when he was at that point, but why when srk made more hits in a short span of time unlike this guy.
The problem with him is that he tends to act like an idiot in all films, his facial expressions in films where he is playing a sane character are just appalling, he needs to work on that rather than his constant posing, his constant use of emotions in every piece of his acting is also annoying he needs to stop that, his style of comedic acting is just crap. And lastly he needs to stop acting in the same film as kareena kapoor.
If you ask me, I think he needs a change, he hasn't starred in a thriller yet, and rajkumar santoshi might be the man for him. A film where we won't need constant blubbering, and lovey dovey crap and with no kareena, might do the trick for him and then we?ll be able to see what the guy is really made of. But right now the guy is no where near being a superstar and to put him in the same league as the likes devgan, akshay, srk, amir is just an insult. the kid has got a long way to go if he is to convince me.
I'll give him two stars for koi mil gaya performance

ok, ok, ok I just read the comments on my review, and I admit I was a little harsh, you also should note that I credited him for a wonderful performance in koi mil gaya, and helllloooo I never said he is just plain useless and will never be a great actor, what I am trying to say is that he needs to master his weaknessesthat I mentioned above and then he can be a good actor.
I also hinted that the guy can do better in more challenging roles for the moment like koi mil gaya, because for some reason he manages to rise at that occasion even kaho na pyar hai which was a challenging role and he put in a decent performance, anyway if he does this then he can go back to the simple roles and then we'll see if he gets it right.
And for those who took at snipe at me about kaho na pyar hai, pipe down will ya I said it wasn't great film, doesn't mean I hated it AND I did say hrithik put in a decent performance.
SEE I'M NOT TOTALLY BIASED, I'm just saying he doesn't have overall good acting skills as of yet, and plus I did mention the title HE SUCKS AT DA MOMENT, what it means is that this guy could be a great actor, but he's not doing that much of a great job right now, the only reason for why I think this way because his performance in koi mil gaya was astonishing and it gave me hope that he can be a good actor, and I'm still clinging onto it.
