Some more tips on cooking which will help utilise the leftovers in the best possible way--

GENERAL TIPS FOR COOKING

1)When you want to make panner add curd(yoghurt) in the milk instead of lime or vinegar the paneer will be softer and quantity will also be more.

2)After you have separated the paneer the water that is left over dont throw that as it can be used to bind dough for chappati or parathas they will turn out softer and will be more nutritious as the water used is whey which is high in protein.

3)Dahi vadas if soaked in buttermilk instead of water when they are pipping hot will taste better and will turn out softer.

4)Stale bread can be toasted and ground and made into bread crumbs and stored for future use.

5)To make the different sauces for ice-cream just heat the jam of your choice and pour over the ice-cream.

6)Dont throw away the left over Pau Bhaji it can be used as stuffing over the dosa to make Mysore Masala Dosa. And believe me it taste yum.

7)Children dont like to eat vegetables but they love Maggi Noodles so just add any vegetables you want say carrot, cabbage, onion, capsicum and fry it in oil and add the Maggi packect to it and when done serve them they will gobble it away.

8)Dont throw away the stale bread it can be used to make Bread Bhajias which children will love and can be served as snacks.

RECIPE FOR BREAD BHAJIAS

-------------------------

8-10 slices of stale bread,1/2 cup sour curd,1 cup besan(gram flour),4 chopped green chillies,2 tablespoon chopped coriander,1/2 teaspoon chilli powder,1/4 teaspoon asafoetida, salt and oil for frying.

Remove the crust from the sides of the bread.Crumble the bread into pieces add curd and little water and soak it for 2 hours.Mix all the remaining ingredients and if you want you can put cheese pieces in this it is optional and fry in the hot oil.

9)After you have made tea dont throw away the used tea leaves.Dry it in the sun and next day boil it with little water and juice of half lime. This can be used as conditioner as the last rinse will give that extra shine and bounce to your hair without spending any money.

10)Many dishes just require us to use the egg yolk so dont throw away the egg white it can be used as mask.Apply it on your face keep it till it dries it helps to tighten the skin and do away with wrinkle.
