Initially I booked for Geyser repair as water was not getting hot properly. Technician told element replacement would cost Rs.1200+labour charger of Rs.413(with tax). He provided the invoice of Rs.1613 but who knows the element cost. Moreover, technician said that warranty will be there only if we buy from him, else no warranty. Fair. so agreed. He changed it. After few days I found that the water is getting very hot and and one day my bathroom pipeline bursted. Thank god. no one got hurt or else it would have been a disaster.


As there was continuous leakage of water from the pipes, I booked for repair of pipe from housejoy. The technician came and said material cost Rs.1200 and labour Rs.800. There was no choice hence ask to do it immediately. The job was done, but to my surprise, no invoice was given by technician and told that it will come on email. Still following up since 3 days with customer care for invoice. who have the time for these activities and hence, these people and housejoy type companies make fool of the people. Who knows the actual price of the replacement pipes and fittings and then they say that warranty will not be given if material taken from outside.


Further, I called customer care same day of burst of pipe that Geyser not working properly as water is coming very hot. The technician came and checked. told that controller is not working properly. Please note that before change of element it was working properly. now who's fault if now the controller is not working. He said it will cost Rs.650/-. I said okay(no option as it was night 8:30PM) Again new surprise, he said that now element is not working properly due to high heating of element because controller was not working(which was working totally fine before all these repairs) and need to be replaced and asked charges for new element. I told him, as it was replaced by housejoy only, warranty was given, now why charges for replacement of element(only after 10-12 days of repair). he said. it is not normal problem. Only due to high heating of element from your side, this problem occured. however, as special case he will replace FOC. Finally got repaired and given invoice for Rs. 800/-. How come. he said two small lights for Rs.150/-(ha ha. two small lights, one red and green . costing Rs.150/-. wow) total Rs.800/-.


What a great service from housejoy. not on geyser. but on my pocket. Will never recommend to anyone.


Still at the time of writing this and after taking to customer care, No material invoice received. I also dont know what material he brought and what he took back. as there is no invoice. Moreover there is no authenticity of the material cost. For labor cost, we have to judge from the work, for material they should given actual invoice purchased. but thats the point. how to make a dent on the customers pocket should be learnt here by these technicians.


Charges were too high for the work. After the booking, were are left with no choice. Will not recommend anyone to book from housejoy. Very terrible experience.
