Before booking your travel accomodations, think twice before the usage of hotwire.com.I had really a worst experience that I encountered in booking my travel accomodations.Before booking, I had checked out other booking sites like Trivago, hotels.com and bookings.com. Hotwire promised to save upto 60%. I gave a try and knew about the hotel prices in Columbia, SC for the dates I needed a room and was familiar with the area. While I was on the site, I received an email that said, "Congatulations on getting this Hotwire Great Deal."It was a hotel I would never choose and shockingly the room price was exactly the same as the one listed on every other site Advertsing was false and I spoke to Hotwire Customer Support followed by supervisor.I was told, "Our rules clearly stated that there are no cancellations or refunds".Hotwire really sucks!
