Our chopper from the rig was delayed for an hour, so I missed the flight to Bangalore. My company booked a standard room in Swosti Plaza hotel in Bhubaneswar. So me any colleague went to Swosti Plaza and stayed for a night. We were given warm welcome and they allotted two standard room for us. Room boys helped us in carrying our luggage. The room was spacious and clean with all basic amenities. The beautiful pictures on the wall and the lights will change everyone’s mood. The hotel room was equipped with air-conditioner, cable flat screen TV, table fan and mini bar in deluxe rooms. The bathroom was neat and clean.
We went to Chandan, multi cuisine restaurant for lunch. Food was really tasty and delicious, we enjoyed eating over there. Apart from that Chinese and Indian restaurant are there.Bars. There is a discotheque on the lower floor, usually off on Monday. But we went and just had beer. There’s a Scottish bar on the first floor as well which provides variety of cocktails and drinks.Other Facilities: Swosti Plaza has many conference and Banquet halls for business people. Apart from that, there is swimming pool, massage centre and health club.Hotel Staffs: The staff were very attentive and responsive. The service was very good. Just 20 minutes drive from the airport or the railway station. Its neat to Ginger Hotel. Have to pay for the internet access despite paying high price.There’s no medical shops or shopping complexes near by, have to walk for 20 minutes.Standard Rooms: 1800 Rs, Deluxe rooms: 3500 Rs Plaza is definitely one of the best hotels in Bhubaneswar.
