On my recent trip to Ahmedabad, I stayed at this hotel for a couple of days. However, my experience at Raj Tilak turned out to be a bad one. First and foremost, I did not like the room quality at all. The room was quite dirty and I found the curtains behind my bed very shabby. There were no decor items on the wall or beside the bed. On the other hand, a kind of stinking odor made the ambiance nasty. Therefore, the first impression about this hotel was not a pleasant one. But I had very little time on my hand to shift to another hotel.
I asked for a blanket to the people in charge of this hotel as it was not there in my bed. However, to my utmost shock, the request was attended only on the next day. This tells about the poor guest services of this hotel. The only good thing was the washroom attached with my room. It was quite clean and dry.
I did not try the food at this hotel, and hence, it would not be appropriate for me to comment on it. There is a restaurant named Pakwan at the same building. I used to visit there for my lunch and dinner.
I strongly felt that this hotel would not provide value for our hard earned money by any stretch of the imagination. Therefore, avoid this hotel at any cost if you visit the city of Ahmedabad.
