The nineteenth-century grand Brij Ram Palace, situated on the banks of the Ganges in Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh, is the second oldest palace after Ramnagar fort , which has been converted into a four-star hotel.
In the year 1920, the southern part of Munshi Ghat was made pucca by the Raja of Darbhanga district of Bihar state. For this reason this ghat is known as "Darbhanga Ghat". In the year 1812, Shridhar Narayan Munshi, the minister of Nagpur king, built this palace at the ghat , this palace is a wonderful example of its art as this palace is built only from the sandstone of Chunar and the Turkish turret and pillars in the upper part of this palace add to its beauty. In 1994, this palace was bought by the Brijrama Group. Because of which this palace is now known as Brijrama Palace.
This palace is beautiful from both inside and outside, from film world to business man, famous people have stayed in this palace, common man is not allowed inside, if we talk about middle class and higher middle class people then both. Can't afford this palace, it's a very expensive hotel palace,
Talking about the food here, there is no special taste to eat, because of this, you will find delicious food in the streets of Banaras!
And the behavior of the staff here is very cramped, does not talk in any manner, nor does he answer anything! ,I would only say that the manager here needs to pay attention to the food and staff! After doing yoga on the terrace, you can enjoy the view of the Ganges and sunrise and sunset with a sip of your tea/coffee.
This palace is situated on the right side of Dashashwamedh Ghat, some further on Darbhanga Ghat.
