The Noodles market is dominated by Maggie. My husband too likes Maggie a lot. We used to keep a good stock of Maggie Family pack ( 340g, price Rs 27/- in CSD, outside Rs 40).
Once, it so happened that I could not reach the CSD at suitable day and it got finished. Great loss to my husband..lol. I was sure to get a disappointed face from him for my lapse in visiting the CSD late.
I visited the market for purchasing Maggie, but saw Horlicks Foodles noddles. I thought , ``Jab poora dam dena hee hai toh why not to try something different``. I purchased four packets of Foodles for Rs 40( Each @ Rs 10/-)
Packaging
It`s good and at par with any good brand. It has provided all the Nutritional facts including E mail id of the customtakeouter support. It has also instruction to use it. In addition to mentioning the ingradients and price it gives Four Horlicks Assurance for 1. Fortified with Iron and Calcium 2. With 9 vital vitamins 3. No Artificial colors and 4. No Added preservatives.
The Foodles
I had not informed my husband that I do not have Maggie for him, last sunday. Huge cold in Chandigarh and being Sunday we got up late. Noddles was the obvious choice for the breakfast. Even I was excited to experiment a new noodles. He was busy now with MouthShut_Official.com... oops.
I never make noodles without vegetables. I used just one onion( costing Rs 5!! ) and green peas and even the cauliflower and carrot. Used a little Mirchi powder, extra salt and the attached Health Maker masaala.
It was presented before him and received a compliments that it was very tasty....lol , he did not come to know that it was Foodles not maggie !!
Verdict
Once I get the Maggie like taste and additional fortified Vitamins and Mineral at a much less price of Rs 10 against Rs 15 for almost same quantity of Maggie, why I shall go for Maggie ?
But I did not find Family pack for Horlicks Foodles, little disappointing.
My husband was revealed the truth later and he was so happy to request the CSD manager for bringing Foodles in CSD too.
