Much much better than expected. Review on Honda Eterno

I am using Eterno for past 10 months and three services down the line(Aweful service providing dealers) I am forced to write this review so that mouthshut's mouth can be shut that finally after 11 months I have sat down for that. Eterno is just superb. I also own a bajaj super 1995 model. But I haven't disposed off it yet. You see- old reliable friend of course. We(I and my aweful half) went to Thane showroom to book activa but finally decided for eterno. I still do not repent that decision of ours. Seats are comfortable but shock ups need some improvement. Weak Horn(though problematic at times) can be borne with. I have driven it on bad Vikroli jogeshwari link road during this running monsoon. So many pot holes down but still no problem at all. Eterno is good for long run. Engine nicely silent and gives you a good feeling. With eterno we have the benifit of four stroke fuel efficiency(55 to 58kms/litre) on actual city riding condition of mumbai. if the roads of mumbai were reasonably good eterno would have given even better feel. By the way My wife drives it too on mumbai(mulund) roads.(to hell with the wear and tear of clutch plates and fuel efficiency) and she likes it. Repairs and maintenance is my baby of course. And We three(I my wife and my 4.5 years daughter) enjoy the ride. Now you see why I still haven't got rid of my old trusted bajaj super.

As on today i.e. 13-2-2007 I will still recommend Eterno after using this vehicle for more than three years.

My Bajaj Super is dying a slow death as spare parts are difficult to get. My wife uses eterno all the time. I use it only rarely. But who minds Yaar. Bibi aur Baccha Khush to sab ekdam Badia hai.

Go for it. It is excellent value for money. If you keep changing the engine oil regularly there are hardly any problems.

As on today 04-11-2008 I am planing to sell my bajaj Super(although I do not Want to) and take one more Eterno. It is still going strong. During past one year, I had the problem of vehicle stopping and refusing to start in rain. This problem was rectified by Saipoint Honda Thane after I shook the company through Internet. It took four months but the fault was finally rectified. It is as good as new other than faded paint and slighly rusted front mudguard.

As on today 04-01-2010, Eterno is still running. Honda has stopped production of Eterno. Getting your vehicle serviced at Sai point Honda Thane, is still a problem. Competition from other is showing up.

Today 03-01-2013, I changed accelerator cable along with oil and filter service. There is a huge improvement in response to revving up the engine. Pick has also improved.

Bajaj super was finally discarded because of too much of rust and non use. Long live Bajaj Super as well.

My daughter is 12 now and we still enjoy short rides(All three on same eterno) as long as "mama"(traffic policeman) can be avoided!

We use WAGON R LPG DUO more for past five years(2007 Model) and I must SAY that WAGON R LPG DUO is a very good dependable Car. My review for the same has still not come across.

But nothing can replace a good TWO WHEELER like HONDA ETERNO Geared SCOOTER. I still give it 5 stars after almost NINE years of use with original tyres and tubes and odometere reading of around 37, 000/ Kms

My eterno has completed almost 19 YEARS in the run and still GOING STRONG.

I have no complaints what so ever.

It is the mechanic, who deserves the kudos! Milage around 50, 000 kms! it starts in one KICK! I have not repainted it. Want to renew RC Book after 20 years!
