HONDA'S HIGHEST SELLING SCOOTER. Review on Honda Dio

Dio is on of the largest selling scooters in india till now.I have been using a green white varient of honda dio from more than 2 years.So I am going to tell you all the good things & ofcourse the pains I encountered dealing with it.Mileage : It is one of the main factor that every indian decides before buying any automotive, irrespective of the specifications.So , frankly speaking it will return you the worst mileage.If ride in between 40-55kmph it will hardly give you 50km per litre , which you can't expect from a 100 cc motor.

omfort: when the scooter is new you will find it little comfy.But when the time passes it fades out.The seat becomes hard as wood.The suspension also becomes more stiff.You will feel each & every bumps & patholes.Riding posture is somehow good.But when you ride it for a very long time , your forearm starts paining.Also , for long riders you may have back pain after a long ride.The pillion seat is little raised.so when you break hard pillon rider will slip out of the seat.The leg rest is not placed in its original possition, again it is a another reason of back pain.Reliability: It is not reliable.The quality is below average.When it was very new it was butter smooth to ride.But when time passed it revealed itself.visor makes too much noise, it has became loose, all the nut bolts from the visors makes creepy sound.The side stand & the main stand has started rusting.Accleration has also became slow.The high beam & low beam are useless.The low beam works better than the high beam.Sometimes both the high& low beam stops working. Road grip: The stock dio uses a very low quality mrf tyres.It do not lasts long , easily tears out.Even if your tyre is new, under some situations it might slip very badly.so beware of it.In rainy days , if you break hard it has 80% probability of getting injured of accident. Appeal: It is the only thing that inspired me to buy this scooty.It looks very appearling.It is eye catcy.It has too many curves.So its design easily attracts everyone no matter you are young or old.Its appealing design is the only reasom making it among the largest selling scooter.final verdict: It has more cons& less pros.The only good thing is that its looks.Look wise no one can replace dio.If you want this in terms of looks then go for it.Another good thing is that its light weight.So it is very easy to manoeuver in heavy traffic.Rest is below average .Also dio honda servicing is pathetic.So think twice, thrice.before you buy.
