I brought the new Honda CB Trigger with only one review and was in complete doubt as I rode out of the Showroom as the first piece in the area.Amazingly I started remembering each and everything claimed by the Honda people while I started driving it along the highway.

The good things in it:

  • It's looks are the latest in the segment. It's a complete package of style and power. The fully digital meter console is the best in the segment and the led Tail lights are as powerful as ever. The flow in it's design actually attracts many who look for a change.

  • The handling of this bike is amazing, it never seems to disobey you even when you are riding through the worst roads in the country. The cornering never felt so buttery and the potholes never seemed so forgiving and the speed breakers never felt so friendly as now. The breaking is amazing even with the STD version and the broader tires and the mono-shocks makes it perfect for the Indian roads.

  • The comfort of the mono-shocks is the highest in it's segment. Pillion driving was never this fun and comfortable as now. Honda seems to have focused  the engineering of it's suspensions exactly as per the requirements of the Indian Roads.

  • The performance and the sound of it's engine is adorable. It's the smoothest among all bikes in the segment and pickup is real fast. It performs exactly as claimed by Honda, however I avoid accelerating it across 60 of now since I don't want to loose it's mileage in the long run, but then only for once I had to pull it up-to 85 in a situation in the Highway for 5-6 seconds while overtaking 5 really long vehicle at a row and it seemed to be the smoothest thing with the least vibration and getting to the desired speed and retarding back in no time.

  • Amazingly it seemed to speak the language of it's owners when it comes to mileage. It gave 60+ in the highways and 55+ in local in the first 300 km in very very absurd road conditions. Never be satisfied with that since this mileage is gonna even grow after the servicing and even more with better road conditions.

The only thing I didn't like a bit was it's head light which is projector type and is quite powerful, but seems a little lesser than the actual requirement. however it's still much better than the pulsar 150 and 180 and doesn't bother me at all..

Concluding the story, it's a complete value for money. Never believe in hoax and go for it if you are looking to be different than the Pulsars and the FZ's since you are going to stand tall among them once you have it.

So far, dear friends wish you a happy and safe riding and always wear a helmet while riding.

See ya.
