Choose Kinetic Nova instead. Review on Honda Activa

Hi there

Some of my friends own a Honda Activa and some own a Kinetic Nova. Based on their inputs, I think Kinetic Nova is the better scooter.. (i.e. if you are keen on four stroke only). This is why I think so:

1. Mileage - ACtiva has a serious problem of poor mileage. Gives 30 kmpl or so. Nova is known to give 50 or more, and one version has a special chip called the Mileage expert (ot something ) which helps a user ride in a good way to get maximum mileage

   
   




2. Storage space - Nova comes with a huge underseat storage space (check it out to believe it), and also a front glove box - this is very useful

   
   




3. Power and aceleration - Nova has superior power to ACtiva (115cc vs 100cc) which is very good for climbing inclines etc

   
   




4. Looks - these are subjective and may or may not be important but Nova certainly is more glamorous looking than ACtiva - overall has a premium look while Activa looks like a bajaj auto old scooter

   
   

So naturlaly it makes sense to choose a scooter that gives better mileage, better power and utility. Both drive equally well.. plus ACtiva sometimes has a starting problem and skidding/wobbling problem
