I bought my Activa DLX after lot of confusion among Suzuki access and Activa. FInally decided to go with Activa for only reason that the height of Activa was lower that Access and my wife was able to drive it comfortable therefore. Bought the vehicle from Dream Honda in Whitefield Bangalore and got delivered within 10 days of booking.
Access seemed to be a better vehicle though in terms of suspension & pickup.My review about Activa after 1 month of riding, clocking 1000 km & one service:
Pros: 1. Ride is very comfortable due to wide seat and good rear shock absorbers.
Pickup is OK, driver is smoother after you cross speed of 30 kmph.
Easily touches speed of 80 kmph, without any issues.
Cons: 1. Very bad front shock absorbers. Can give you a sore back on Bangalore roads.
Hardly getting a mileage of 35, with very smooth driving (Perhaps it will increase after 2nd service)
Service network is BAD!! had to wait 10 hours to get my vehicle after on a Saturday. The Dream Honda service people very rude and not ready to service the vehicle initialy as it had clocked 100 km more than the service period of 750 km meter reading. However, agreed only after multiple requests.
At 10 Am, the vehicle was handed over to service center and I was told to come back only at 5 pm. When I reached there at 5:30, I was told to wait another 30 mins as the vehicle was still not ready. When I received the vehicle at 6 pm, it was full of dirt under the mudguards (was not washed well). This made me shout at the service center guys and it was sent again for washing and I received the vehicle only at 7 pm again! Heard this is the situation at all the service centers of Honda due to the high number of vehicles & lesser service centers.
