HomeShop18 is probably one of the best examples of what bad customer service and poor operations mean. They have a wide range of items listed on the website and everything is "in stock"!! Plus, they promise you that the item will be delivered in 3-5 days, etc.
But, in reality, they don't seem to have stock of anything. I have tried shopping with them twice. Both times, I ended up canceling the order as they could not ship in over 10 days. Their customer service promises to raise the matter to higher authorities, which seem non existent. After waiting for over 10 days, the customer service still refuses to acknowledge that the item is not available in stock.
They keep promising that the item will be shipped in another 3-4 days, and do not provide any plausible reason for the delay. Each representative has a different story to tell. Totally non-professional, unethical behavior. BUNCH OF LIARS. I had to call them 4 times (and had to shout each time) to get my order canceled.
HomeShop18's pathetic service only makes me realize how great Flipkart and Infibeam are!
