Fast & Furious Hobbs & Shaw, if you’re expecting anything like F& F 1-5 then change your expectations. The extremely noticeable absenteeism of the usual clan, not the least being Vin Diesel, gives this release a crossbreeding of Jason Bourne with The Transporter. The action is full on and exceeds exaggeration but doesn't lose your attention as the special effects team must have included some of the Marvel Super Hero creators. The comedic banter between Hobbs & Shaw throughout the entire movie keeps your mind off the fact that Fast Cars, Street Racing, Classic collections and the original multi-cultural flavour it embraced has all but gone by the wayside. Doesn't disappoint from an Action Movie stance but certainly not retaining any of the Fast & Furious car based storylines which originally had me hooked. Definitely shouldn't be under the heading of Fast & Furious Franchise, as it is more a stand alone action movie, still 4.5 out of 5 stars for total entertainment
