Ans inspite of being from the Malu land, One cant make it out in his songs. His pronunciation is good as any Bollywood playback singer.

I hope I got that order correct! This song is again picturized on Amol Palekar. What a Lucky man ;-) some of the words in this song are a bit difficult to comprehend, but the sharp voice in which yesudas has rendered this song makes up for that.

The start , the first line of the song is worth listening to a zillion times. And then once again. when Yesudas starts Ka Karoon... it somehow feels like the voice is coming deep inside from the singers heart absolutely amazing.
A Secret ? One of the weird things I did when I got my new {which now is very old ;-( } Music System with a double cassette playing/recording facility. I had taped the first line again and again just for about 150 times I guess ;-)
So I made Yesudas play trance Music too ;-) He went on Ka Karooo sajni for like a 150 times. I dint Mind. My friend said I dont think he can do much !!! ;-)

Definitely those who are more learned about music and Raagas and stuff like that, will have something to tell about this classical song. There are some very close to urdu type words in the song and again for a dumb guy like me, many lines are straight bouncers. But listening to this song is sooths your nerves. Feels like he is just there singing for you!
so everyone who advised listening to music is De-Depressing. ;-) Give this song a shot

Bappi Lahiri , usually remembered for his copied lyrics , tune and Rhythm had somehow managed to come out with this gem of a song. Thank god he dint sing himself and let yesudas do the noble thing. Worth mentioning here is the way he has sung Dekho Kabhi to Pyaar se in a high pitch and the very next line Darte ho kyon Ikrar se is as soft and smooth as.....(very poor in sidhuisms ;-) wonderful Lyrics and poignant rendering by the ustaad !

A wonderful song from a Fantastic movie, Picturised on Kamaal Hassan and Sridevi. The movie in whish sridevi acted so naturally. Acting like a Mad girl was not much of trouble to her. She just had to be herself.. Yuck got carried away.. Back to the song..
A Lullaby a 'lorie', Not to be confused with Lorry,(for the people who are not as ''Educated'' as I am ) The best to listen tune is the way he ends Resham se bhi Reshaami... and starts off again with Surmai ankhiyon main again.
