I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with Hi-Style Furniture. I ordered a set of wooden furniture on 13th May, 2023 through Chennai Nandambakkam trade fair and was assured a delivery from their Vanagaram manufacturing unit within 2 weeks.
Padur showroom is located in OMR and I am told to visit the store to track the status of delivery and varieties of sofa. However, only after 25-30 follow-up, I am able to get the delivery on 2nd week of June that too with poor quality and many accessories were missed during shipment.
I denied full settlement but I am forced to pay with assurance that it will be fulfilled in next 2 days but again have to do 10+ follow up but in vain.
I have been in touch with a person called Thazhai Ganesh & he can be contacted in Ph# 73391 3xxxx and his assistant named Ram with Ph # 73387 9xxxx and who seems to be incharge for multiple showrooms across Padur, Vanagaram, Pallikaranai in Chennai - India.
I have contacted Hi-Style Furniture on several occasions to inquire about the status of my order. Each time, I have been given a different excuse for the delay. First, I was told that there was a problem with the manufacturing of my furniture. Then, I was told that there was a problem with the shipping of my furniture. Finally, I was told that there was a problem with the warehouse where my furniture was being stored. Among this another confusion was on type of sofa I ordered but what I was delivered is a different unit/design.
I am extremely frustrated with the lack of communication and customer service from Hi-Style Furniture. I have been patient and understanding, but I am now at the end of my rope. I am demanding that Hi-Style Furniture deliver my furniture immediately or issue me a full refund.
In addition to the significant delay, I have also been disappointed with the customer service from Hi-Style Furniture. When I have contacted them, I have been put on hold for long periods of time and assured to get back but both of them never returned the call. I have been spoken to in a rude and arrogant manner.
I would not recommend Hi-Style Furniture to anyone. They are a company that does not care about their customers or their reputation. I am very disappointed with my experience with Hi-Style Furniture and I will never do business with them again.
I would sincerely request any customer in and around Chennai never ever attempt to purchase furniture from their showroom. Nor ever visit the stalls that would be organized as part of multiple furniture fairs in Chennai or nearby areas.
I have even decided to name and shame the responsible person and considering to approach the consumer court for the mental stress which they caused to me.
