Writing this review cause I found that hardly anyone is even aware of this movie's existence. "HHLBRH " is a cute and one time watchable movie. No big names linked to it except Rajpal Yadav who, I think has taken a good decision by acting in this low budget flick. This can be a good escape from the stereotypical roles that he had been playing off late.
HHLBRH is the story of a security guard, LALLAN, who respects his work and is proud of it. The dutiful guy has a dream to pursue, the dream of getting married to his love of life who is not even aware of his love but considers him to be her best friend and someone who cares a lot for her. Though, Lallan stays in Bombay, he remains in constant touch with this girl whose name happens to be Saroja. Apart from being a good service man, Lallan is also a very good human who is always present whenever someone needs him. But everything do not turn out to be in the fashion in which we demand. Lallan's dreams are shattered when he comes to know that Saroja is in love with some other boy. Awareness of this fact did not cause any difference in his concern for her and he even puts his life on test when she needs him.
The script was not demanding and hence the director was unable to make any mistakes. The whole film was smoothly and rightly made.
The music by Surendra Sodhi and Vijay Verma is one big stature for the movie. It sounds good and has the capacity to attract repetitive listening.
Rajpal Yadav's role can be compared to the one he played in "main, meri patni aur woh" and "main madhuri dixit banana chahti hoon". He plays his part fairly and honestly but again the same issues arise here too. He seems to be monotonic in most of the sequences. Most of the other actors are either taken from television or are debutantes.
HHLBRH is an average work of cinema but endurable. The quick release of DVD's proves that even the producers didn't accept it to do any business taking into account, all the star studded weekends and the 3 idiots craze. But then, I need to applaud the perseverance and the hard work put in by every person linked to it.
MY ACTUAL RATING: 2.5
