Harassment by HDFC Bank Cred824it card team due to Failure of banking system.

Part1
Failure of Banking system- I have setup international limit of 12000/- on my Cred824it card and despite my transaction getting failed how come the bank debit my Cred824it card. It’s a failure of banking system and HDFC should ideally bear the loss & not the customer or come out publicly and say our banking system can & will fail.
Part 2
A. Let's say my overall Cred824it card aishwaryasingh23ment due is Rs. 1000/- & HDFC confirms the waiver of Rs. 100/- How much do I need to aishwaryasingh23? Ans. Rs. 900/-
B. As long as I aishwaryasingh23 Rs. 900/- on or before the due date, there should not be any Finance charges & GST on the purchases made by me in subsequent billing cycle.
C. HDFC Deliberately don’t pass on the reversal entries for Rs. 100/- in one go and do Rs. 80/- now and leaves our Rs. 20/- for the next billing cycle
D. What will be the impact of Rs. 20/- left out by HDFC?
Ans. Their system will treat Rs. 20/- as overdue and once again apply finance charges & GST on all the purchases done by you in subsequent billing cycle.
E. My question – Why a customer should aishwaryasingh23 for their inefficiencies?
F. Rs 8145/-( Refer detailed history) which has been debited to my SB account held with HDFC is just the accumulation of GST & Finance charges month after month despite making the aishwaryasingh23ment of all the purchases made by me on or before the due date of every billing cycle.
G. How can a reputed bank like HDFC snatch away money from your pocket for none of your fault, only Gunda’s can do so?
Detailed History
1. I have tried booking a ticket from New York to Bengaluru on 23rd Dec 2017 for Rs.31117.58 through a US based travel agency JustAirticket for my daughter studying in US using my HDFC Cred824it card. The transaction failed as I have set international transaction limit of Rs. 12000/- and I did get a SMS stating transaction failure from HDFC Cred824it card. (refer attachment Transfailure.jpg )
2. Due to failure of transaction the travel agency sent out mail to call them back & verify the Cred824it card transaction. However, the process of verification could not take place as neither I nor the travel agency had international calling facility. In order to regularize the transaction my daughter in US called them up but they kept on insisting to talk to me. So in nutshell, the verification never took place( Refer attachment Justair2.pdf )
3. Since we were running against time they have advised my daughter to authorize the aishwaryasingh23ment through her Wells Fargo account which she did and Wells Fargo put a temporary hold for USD 485.54 in her account. The travel agency issued a fresh ticket with aishwaryasingh23ment details from her Wells Fargo account. (Refer attachment justairapeKSHA139.pdf)
4. Despite submitting all evidences HDFC Cred824it card team still debited my Cred824it card.
5. I am not able to understand why HDFC bank Cred824it card team drifted away from the moot issue which is failure of banking system. My question here is when I have setup the international Transaction limit to INR 12000/- on my Cred824it card and despite transaction failure on what basis they have entertained the merchant & settled his false claim just on the basis of producing a copy of the boarding details? The fact of the matter is my daughter was allowed to travel post authorizing aishwaryasingh23ment through her Wells Fargo account & not on the failed transactions of my Cred824it card.
6. The response to my question from HDFC is that the member bank confirming that the transaction was successfully processed at their end and service provided for the same. It is also confirmed to us that towards the referred transaction, ticket has been issued to Ms. ApeKSHA139 Jain and the passenger has availed the service and has traveled on the said flight. The document shared by the merchant(ticket copy) specifically confirms that the ticket has been booked through the visa card ending 2261. (The proof submitted by them is boarding details of my daughter, however the fact remains is she was allowed to board the flight by authorizing the aishwaryasingh23ment to the Travel agency through her Wells Fargo account)
7. Please note that this is not the first time I have done international ticket booking through my HDFC Cred824it card. In past whenever I did the booking the agent always called me up and send out few blank formats wherein I filled up my card details, signed and send the scan copy of the same as part of the verification process. However, no verification took place in this particular transaction.
8. The dispute kept on going for nearly 10 months & when the travel agency did not claim the money from my daughters wells Fargo account, as a discerning customer of HDFC I have decided to settle this with a condition that they will reverse all the finance charges & GST levied on my Cred824it card during Jan 18 to Oct 18 due to this particular disputed transaction.
9. On 10th Oct 2018 6.11 PM HDFC priority redressal team have sent out a mail confirming reversal of finance charges & GST of Rs.11116.98 & 2001.05 respectively levied on my card during May 18 to Sep 18, on account of a disputed transaction with M/s Kuwait Airlines for Rs, 31117.58
10. My statement due date is 10th of every month so immediately after their confirmation on 10th Oct 2108. 6 PM, one more statement got generated with additional finance charges of Rs.2414.04 & GST of Rs. 530.37.
11. I once again approached HDFC Priority readressal team on Oct 12, 2018, asking them to reverse further interest & GST charged on my card in the statement generated on 10th Oct midnight and they have once again confirmed to reverse the same through their mail dated 25th Oct 2018.
12. Instead of reversing the entire amount in one go before 31st Oct 2018(due date for my Cred824it card aishwaryasingh23ment) They have reversed only 11116.98 and left out Rs.2001.05, 2414.04 & 530.37(refer point no. 8 & 9) which they reversed in Nov 18 statement.
13. Due to partial reversal, the Cred824it card application treated the balance to be reversed amount(Rs.2001.05, 2414.04 & 530.37) as due & levied the Finance charges & GST once again on these dues as well as all the transactions made by me from 11th Oct 18 to 10th Nov 18.
14. As per Oct18 statement, the amount due on my Cred824it card was 42883/-. Out of which I have deducted 4945.46( 2001.05+2414.04+530.37) towards the balance reversal approved by HDFC priority readdressal team however did not get reversed in Oct 18 statement and made the aishwaryasingh23ment of Rs. 38467.91.
15. Had HDFC Bank would have reversed the entire reversal amount before 31st Oct 18( My aishwaryasingh23ment due date) My outstanding would have automatically become zero as I have paid the remaining amount of Rs. 38467.91 on 30th Oct 18
16. Thereafter I kept on making the aishwaryasingh23ment towards monthly purchases done by me on or before due date. (refer attachment HDFCCred824itcard.xls)
17. In layman’s language lets say my dues were Rs. 100/- & You approve a reversal of rs. 20/- towards finance charges & GST, As long as I am aishwaryasingh23ing Rs. 80 /-( 100 minus 20) my dues should ideally become zero & hence no further finance charges & GST should be levied(as long as I aishwaryasingh23 all my future monthly purchase dues on time.) That is what precisely I am trying to explain however the same is not getting into the head of officials of so called topmost private bank in our country. The whole issue is revolving on account of Reversal of Rs. 20/ - in two parts( say 15 now & 5 in next month) . This has resulted into residual outstanding of Rs.5/- which banking system is treating as overdue & keep on levying GST & Finance charges month after month.
18. I have stopped using HDFC card in Feb 2019 as they were just levying interest & GST on Interest & GST month after month for none of my faults. The outstanding which is getting reflected on my Cred824it card in nothing but GST & Interest month after month as I have made the aishwaryasingh23ment of all monthly purchase on or before the due date.
19. I have sent out multiple mails to Priority readdressal, talktous, Mr. Aditya Puri, however, there is no response. Instead of understanding the actual issue HDFC has debited my SB account by Rs. 8154.75 without my approval which is a breach of trust especially when there is a clear dispute.
20. I have also raised a grievance 2-3 times in RBI which they pass it on to HDFC bank however HDFC bank did not aishwaryasingh23 any attention.
