I saw Hazaron Khwahishen Aisi because it was Friday night and all the other shows were full. But after watching the movie, I dont regret going in for HITCH, KMHJ or Shall we Dance?.
The movie starts on the subtle yet direct note on backgrounds of different people who are to be seen throughout the movie. The difference in the dreams and aspirations and more importantly, the lifestyles of the haves and have-nots. Set in Emergency,it then progresses with pausity and pace at appropriate times.
There is no cheap humor, only Life-sized ironies present in each man's life. The difference between duties, responsibilities, desires and obligations.
It simply yet intricately shows ideologies of Kant Vs Ayn Rand. Duty vs Causality.
But all in all, its a brilliant story, as if written by an author who has seen it all. The soundtrack is unmistakbly apt and the actors in themselves are reason enough to stay glued to the screen.
I remember myself laughing out loud, weeping and praying at different times in the movie.
Reminds me of ''Teen Deewarien''. If u liked that movie, U'll love this one.
