My Hathway Braodband connection No. 720488.
Place: Bengaluru
Hathway Internet Connection: Since last 7 months
Speed connected: 256 KBPS promised
Actual Speed: 04-50 KBPS ONLY
Peak speed: Midnight to morning(50 KBPS)
Issues Faced
Most of the time the helplin telephone is busy, or there will be recorded message, it takes several tries to get connected. Some times you need to spend close to 30-40 min. to get an executive to talk to you.
Response to complaint is very poor, they say max. one day, but in my case they took 6 days.
Very slow & bad speed.( you get 10 percent of speed promised)
Every month I used to drop cheque in their office in HAL III stage, but without fail every month they used to call back and say I have not paid, and I have to gather all details and fetch them to avoid irritating calls.
Last month Hathway in Bengaluru moved to new login system, I requested hathway to send technical guy to assist me, but no one came. I finally called up then and got my broadband disconnected.
Hathway, has not yet refunded 10 days outage due to their own negligence. I have written numerous emails for physical disconnection and refund, there is no response at all.
