I know, this seems a very long review. But, please read before taking the Hathway connection.
I have used some other broadband network for more than 4 years without any issues. One day, I have received a call from the Hathway executive. I think his name was "Sarath". He was explained about the Hathway packages and benefits. Initially, I am not convinced and refused the offer, because I am very much comfortable with my current network. But, he has convinced me. And, I agreed to subscribe to the connection from the next month onwards. I did a very big mistake in my life at that time. While explaining the packages, he did not explain about the deposit amount 400, he only concentrates to explain the package related information alone. After a couple of days, I have sent my documents to them. After, receiving the documents only they told about deposit amount 400. And, also they promised to refund the money immediately if we disconnect the connection. So, I have paid the deposit amount along with my package cost.
After that only my headache started. Very worst network ever I have used in terms of internet speed, customer support, etc. We can use mobile wifi internet instead of Hathway. The mobile hotspot works fast while I connect through my laptop.
They provide a lot of false promise to take their connection. For example,
While taking the connection I asked them to enable my connection from MAR-1 onwards. But they told like, we provide the 2 days of demo internet. So, we can enable the internet right now, but the bill was generated from MAR-1. I agree and they enabled the internet on FEB-26 I think. But, they have disconnected my internet exactly on MAR-25.
I have explained this to them a lot of time and they enabled my connection after two days only(these days I don't have the internet. And, they enabled the internet after I sent the connection close request). I asked them to compensate the disconnected date and they agreed on the same and enable the connection on MAR-28 night and they told like, you can use the internet for next 5 days to compensate disconnected date. But, they disconnected the internet again on MAR-31 exactly. This time I am not ready to use them continuously. Immediately, I have switch my previous internet.
After some weeks later they have collected the modem they have to provide(please note that they have provided the modem, after collecting the money 400 from me). But, after collecting the modem they refused to return my deposit amount 400. But,
1. While explaining about the packages, they did not tell anything about the deposit amount
2. After collecting the proof from me only they told about the deposit amount. But, at that time also they promised to refund the amount immediately if we disconnect the connection.
3. While collecting the modem as well, they promised to refund my deposit amount within 3 working days.
4. But, After collecting the device, they refused to pay the money.
So, my advice to other peoples like who are all use the Hathway connection or planned to use this useless connection.
1. First, Please don't go with Hathway. Initially, they speak very well. They provide a lot of promises. But, its are all fake promises.
2. If, anyone going to disconnect this useless network don't allow them to take the modem without providing the money or any equal things. Because, if they are collected the modem means, we cant able to collect the money from them. I think, this company running with deposit amount only. Because no one can able to use this network for the long run.
