During this Durga Puja, I had a great time at various restaurants located in and around Kolkata. However, my experience at Golf Green's Hatari was not a good one. I visited this place along with my parents during the lunch hours and found the restaurant pretty empty at that time. The ambiance was quite decent and the floor nice and clean. But unfortunately, it turned out to be the only good thing in this restaurant as far as I can remember.
We ordered a plate of mixed fried rice, a plate of American chop suey, a plate of chicken steamed momo, and one tempura prawn. The service turned out to be very slow and we had to wait for an hour or so for the food items. There was nothing extraordinary as far as the food presentation was concerned.
I have to admit that the American chop suey I ordered(priced at Rs. 250) was the worst I have ever tasted in my life. The taste and quality of the chicken steamed momo(priced at Rs. 220) and the mixed fried rice(priced at Rs. 240) turned out to be pretty bad as well. Moreover, the tempura prawn coming at a cost of as high as Rs. 600 was extremely disappointing. Therefore, at Golf Green's Hatari we found no value for our hard earned money.
