Hello everyone, I am today going to write about my most favorite series of books in my life.
Harry Potter and the philosophers stone is the first book in the harry potter series which was first launched in 1997.The book is about a young boy who finds out after the age of 11 that he is a very famous and powerful wizard. The book has won many awards in Britain and in the USA as it has mesmerized millions of readers around the world.The book has also been voted the best seller for years in many websites across the world. I have read this book atleast 5 times and it has kept me awake in the middle of the night many times in order to read the book.
Harry potter is a story about a wizard boy who managed to be the only person to survive being murdered as a baby while his parents had been murdered.He lived with his aunt and uncle who always treated him as a burden and did not want him to know that his parents were a wizard and a witch. Once he finds out the truth, He gets admission into the best wizarding school in the world, The Hogwarts .
The books lets our imagination run wild while we become a part of the world with harry potter and his best friends Ron weasly and Hermione Granger. The amazing twists afforded in the books regarding the story of the return of the dark wizard, Lord Voldermort, makes us literally fear for the death of our hero Harry potter.Philosophers stone is about the start of harry potter's wizarding world where he goes through the first yr of his school life learning how to be a wizard and he has to deal with the return of "he who must not be named" who tries to use the philosophers stone to return back to full health and become immortal. The stone has magical powers which has helped the headmaster Dumbledore's friend Nicolas Flamel live for 100's of years and is hidden in the school castle with the protection of many spells.
The books leaves us spell bound with all its new stories about harry potter's great past and how it helps him get over all the hurdles that come in his life.Every single thing about this book is awesome and I promise you that who reads it will not regret it.
