''The hottest day of the summer so far was drawing to a close and a drowsy silence lay over the houses of Privet Drive....The only person left outdoors was a teenage boy who was lying flat on his back in a flowerbed outside number four.'' Thus begins the first paragraph of the best book in the world that I've ever read {and I've read more than 10 thousand books at the least....no kidding} !
From the very first chapter the excitement begins! It's Dementors...in PRIVET DRIVE!
Read how Harry deals with them...produces a ''stag'' Patronus...and is almost expelled from Hogwarts!
This book also introduces to us Professor Umbridge...new headmistress and 'High Inquisitor' of Hogwarts. She is also the new Defence Against the dark arts teacher...Snape fails to get that job....AGAIN!
It's Harry's O.W.L. {ordinary wizarding level} this year. Fred and George get further on with their ''Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes''.
Rowling's writing ability cannot under any circumstances be doubted. She's a first rate writer for children and adults alike!
Another important part of this book is...
'' Dumbledore lowered his hands and surveyed Harry through his half-moon glasses. 'It's time,' he said, 'for me to tell you what I should have told you five years ago, Harry. Please sit down. I am going to tell you everything.''
Read the book to find out more...and dont forget to rate this review....short and sweet that it is!
