The Harry Potter series is now like old wine.

With the passage of time and with the release of each book,

the series seems to get better.

I am glad to see that J.K Rowling has the guts to have written

an ending which is decidedly non-populistic.

Without giving anything anyway, I want to say that a very important

character dies in the end. Or as far as I am concerned seems to die.

The book is divided into parts where Harry along with Dumbledore tries

and obtains knowledge of Voldemorts vulnerabilities and parts where

the teenagers are shown as dealing with their growing pains.

Harry tries to hide his love for Ginny fearing disapproval from Ron

and Ron and Hermione have a tiff which ultimately converts into love

by the last page is turned.

We are interested to new characters like the new potions teacher, Horace

Slughorn and Snape finally gets his wish and becomes the Defense against

the Dark arts teacher.

Rowling has left many loose ends which I am sure will require a 1000 page

plus book 7 to end the Potter saga.

However, her writing is getting better. There is less magic here and more

of the human element which was lacking a bit and made earlier books seem

to be an extension of th eemotionless Star Wars movies.

I am 29 yrs old but I still enjoy reading Harry Potter as the youngest kid

who can read these books. I stood in line at 12 am with my pre order tag to get

the book at the local Barnes & Noble and finished reading the book in two days.

So for non-Potter reading adults, if you find the time and are so inclined give

these books a shot. You will not be disappointed.
