Well, I guess it helps to know the manager of a theatre. Got myself the first day 3rd show. (Don't mean to brag about it). The movie starts off with them leaving for the port key on the way to the quidditch world cup. (I read the book quite a few months ago so don't mind me if i've skipped out the numberous scenes they've cut in the movie). What was terribly disappointing was they cut the entire quidditch march. They showed the Bulgarians make their way into the stadium and a giant leprechaun and thats about it. What about the PRETTY VEELAS? I was looking forward to that part! So suddenly out of no where they scene changes and I dont quite remember what they show after that because I couldn't get over the fact that it was cut! Hermiones part in this movie was really less as well. I guess that includes the whole cast. I was hoping there would be more of the funny stuff added to the movie but none of that was there accept for the incident where Moody turns Malfoy into a squirrel or whatever it is. Also there is one part after the champions are announced where Dumbledore charges are Harry asking him if he added his name to the goblet. That never happened in the book. Rolls eyes. Movies .. Such exaggeration!

The dragon scene was good and they chose a pretty good cast for the new comers in this part. They all looked like what I thought they would while I was reading the book! All in all an OK movie - I guess people who just know what Harry Potter is all about and have never read the book would probably enjoy it. I hope the next book is as long as the Lord of the Rings or something on those lines!
