My entire story of how Happy Easy Go harassed me

These guys are a complete bunch of scammers!


I had booked a Jet Airways flight from their website in February, for travel on 21st April 2019.


Now as it happened, on 6th April I just was checking the flight status on Jet Airways sight, the flight wasn't showing. So I called Jet Airways, they said that the fight has been canceled since March!


I asked them as to why they didn't inform me, they said that the email id registered with the booking is that of Happy Easy Go, so we sent them an email stating that the flight is canned, the customer can get a full refund. So I was asked by Jet Airways people to contact Happy Easy Go for my full refund.


Now Happy Easy GO doesn't have any phone number, just an email id.where I sent an email. I got a reply a few hours later from a guy called Sagar Tickoo that I need to cancel the flight from their website.


Now on their website, there is a cancel button where there is an option that states the reason for cancellation being that the flight has been canceled by the airline.


I selected that option, the website prompted me to upload proof that the flight is canceled. No, I didn't have any proof since the Jet guy informed me on the phone about it and the email id registered with Jet for this booking is Happy Easy Go one. So I could NOT cancel the ticket from the website.


I replied to Sagar Tickoo citing this issue, he tells me to get proof from Jet Airways by emailing the Jet customer care!


I called Jet again to ask if they can send me an email, they have told me over the phone that the PNR has been booked through Happy Easy Go, they have updated their email id in the booking that took place in the system.


So basically Jet Airways have emailed these guys the cancellation and the Full Refund Remarks Already in the email in March! TheJet person also went on to say that the travel agent has full access to the PNR details in the system, they should be able to access the system.


I said that I will contact the cops if they harass me further for my refund.


I'm still awaiting a reply from them.


This is by far the worst service I have experienced from a travel agency.


1) The flight got canned in March, Jet sent them the intimation, however, they didn't convey to me.


2) I had to figure out that the flight got canned on my own just a few days before the flight. Which I had booked 2 months ago.


3) My alternative travel plan from Bagodra to Mumbai has flights that have double the tariff. Which would've been cheaper for me had they informed me in March about the same? A loss I have to bear due to their negligence


4) The hassle that I have to go through for getting a refund, even though they have full access to PNR details, so much harassment is uncalled for!


I suggest anyone doesn't use their services. It's not worth the pains. There are umpteen other sites that sell airline tickets.
