After learning of the release of Will Smith’s newest movie production “Hancock” I knew that watching this comedy would be quite a unique experience and my expectations of “Hancock” would be high because Will Smith always delivers a good act. You just don’t ignore a good actor as Will Smith he is the kind of actor you take seriously even if you don’t always want to. In his newest release "Hancock" Will Smith brings a different flavor to the meaning of super hero he is rare because he not only bring on a bundle of laughs he also brings to the audience a bunch of surprises.
“Hancock” is a comedic movie that show cases a different kind of super hero, he’s a struggling alcoholic, sarcastic and misunderstood by others. Also it’s not common to see a super hero that creates mayhem and destruction after completing a heroic task. Hancock is the sort of man who has a head of wood and a heart of gold. And he has come from a different dimension of time leaving the viewer with a bundle of surprises, and a lot to think about.
Synopsis of the Movie
In his story, our local super hero is John Hancock portrayed by Will Smith. Hancock has come from another dimension of time some how he ends up on the streets of the city of Los Angeles living the life as a derelict and alcoholic; he’s hated and misunderstand by the citizens of Los Angeles. The city of Los Angeles has embarked on a super hero with destructible powers that the citizens and lawmakers find helpful in their quest to fight crime. John Hancock's mission as the city's super hero is to free the city of dangerous criminals and save the lives of its citizens. Hancock’s meets his greatest challenges when he meets a Public Relations agent, and his family. Hancock discovers that the wife of his public relations agent was his wife thousands of years ago and the three find they have more in common than they thought.
Hancock is a very funny and entertaining movie that audiences will enjoy. Will Smith in his lead role as Hancock takes center stage when delivering a very good role as a rare super hero that grabs your attention with corny special effects that work, a disjointed and charming, brave personality. “Hancock” also delivers good action scenes, and special effects that appear a bit corny but workable. The cast delivers some decent acting, but I wouldn’t count on it being the best however, the cast does make a good contribution to this movie to say the least. Audiences will be thrilled at Will Smith and his charismatic and comedic role as John Hancock, a rare super hero. “Hancock” is an engagingly funny movie and a must see.
