This is good film directed by very famous director Zoya Akhtar. First part of this film is boring and second part is more interesting. I think this is the first bollywood fillm which is based on rapper. The story of this film is very realistic based on slum areas of Mumbai. Ranveer had done very good acting. Supporting cast Alia Bhatt, Vijay Raaz, Sidhant Chaturvedi, etc are good too. Sidhant Chaturvedi role of "MC Sher" is very interesting and he had done superb acting. Murad(Ranveer Singh) is a slum boy whose ambition to become a rapper. Another rapper "MC Sher"(Sidhant Chaturvedi) helps and inspires him to become a rapper. But his father Vijay Raaz against of him because he thinks we are from poor family and you should do any job except singing. This film also defines the struggle of a slum boy to become famous rapper. Alia Bhatt accent is very good in this film. Mostly all songs are rap by Ranveer Singh. "Mera Time Aayeaga" is my favourite song of this film.
Overall full family film and very inspiring story as well.
I will rate Gully Boy 3 star out of 5.
