Plot: The movie begins with a fiery KayKay sermonizing some Rajputs to come together to fight for their province Rajputana. Then comes the FLASHBACK.. detailing that scene.. Once upon a time there were kingdoms in HINDUSTAN. And then all HINDUS TANned up differently to gather as numerous groups. One such group is composed of people whom we love to call ’Banas’. Bana Ji, the leader, tries to infuriate Banaas/Rajputs to organize together for a separate land even after the kings relinquished their rights. Bhati, his aide, shares this passion and channelize entire clandestine operation. Piyush Mishra, Bana Ji’s Brother (forgot name) plays a silly bard-like character. But, whatever he uttered pierced through my soul. Then, there are Karan & Kiran, the illegitimate children of Raja Saheb and want to enjoy a respectable position. Here, Raja’s legitimate son is Ransa. Also, some screen space is shared by Jesse and Mahi. Kiran and Ransa contest each other in college elections supported by Karan & Bansa resp. Entwined in a Chakravhiyu, our Abhimanyu aka Ransa is killed by Karan. Raju takes his position then. But, he kills Bana ji, owing to some misunderstandings/politics planted by Kiran & Karan. But, later in the maddening race for seat, he is also taken care of.. "Dono bhai-behan mil kar Raju ki le daalte hein" - Sorry, Its the movie effect!
Recommendation: YES It a must watch for the simple reason, it will remind you of movies like Hazaron Khwaishein Aisi, Dil Dosti etc. For the reason that movie has filthy, double meaning lyrical songs.. For the reason, Raju got laid... For the reason, its a beautifully concocted story..For the reason, Jessie/Mahie is there.. Ok, thats enough.. I have seen it.. So should you... And please please don’t ask me again that who am I? I am a serious Bollywood consumer.
Moral and Morale: Jealousy, Land, Sheer Pride and Women really do a lot of damage. But, as they say, its the must haves and necessary evils of life. Try them..
As if someone is listening: Let me thank my friend that he downloaded this movie and saved me from the embarrassment if I had accompanied my friend’s girlfriend in Spice Mall, Noida. Seriously! That was planned for the evening! I Swear ;) Every character in the movie was playing ABUSES ABUSES.. Great escape! Jesse, I was thrilled to see you after so long.. Kudi Kudi oye.. Director! Hats off to you!
