I am using green tea as a alternative for traditional tea from a year as it is said to have health benefits. Let me tell you my experience with green tea and its effects.
After a year of intake of it, I found out that, it has really improved my skin. I also do feel very fresh and energized. It is very easy to prepare. I take it twice morning and evening. It has control my weight and helped in reducing it. Now I do not any sleep disorder.
It is actually made from Camellia sinensis leaves without withering and oxidation. Its pros and cons are;
Pros:
It does not require sugar, hence it helps in weight control.
It contains antioxidants and nutrients that are beneficial for the body.
Removes bacteria from mouth.
It lowers the bad cholesterol and increase good cholesterol. It is also beneficial for blood pressure.
It reduces risk for bladder cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer and esophageal cancer.
Cons:
It contains caffeine, so not unsuitable for individuals having heart disease.
Not suitable for patients of anemia and glaucoma.
More than 2 cups per cay can be harmful.
Bad taste.
However if taken in limited quantity, it is very good health drink. I must recommend it to take about 2 cups daily.
