After interviewing at a different HR middle man company, I was referred to Gratitude India at Barton Center on MG Rd. Competent provider of many WTF moments, I'm sure.
Everything about this office is a joke. It's being run by a bunch of mentally and physically stunted boys with very arrogant, nonchalant and negative attitudes, which compliment their roadside romeo haircuts and effeminate skinny girl jeans nicely. Yes. I said it. Skinny jeans are for skinny girls. And skinny male hair dressers.
I also noticed that these boys were taking advantage of female freshers' timidity. I witnessed multiple young women being barked at in a parochial fashion to "sit there!" They didn't speak this way to male candidates or to the female candidates who seemed to have some age and experience, but the fresher girls who seemed less sure of themselves were getting some passive aggressive intimidation tactics thrown their way. Seems to me these boys are a bunch of brainless cowards who like to throw their weight around when they know there isn't a remote chance of any retaliation.
No, they aren't rowdy boys. A rowdy might actually produce some meaningful results. No, these are the boys whowanted to be rowdies, but just could never muster the testicular fortitude required for it, so instead, they are employed to waste the precious time of the unemployed who are desperately trying to get employed.
They get paid to do little or nothing beyond middle man communications on behalf of competent people who actually WANT meaningful employment, and that they cannot even do correctly, as they are extremely disorganized, are not capable of communicating effectively with each other or anyone else, and are not capable of efficient time management or task prioritization. They do not care about the clientele on either side, not the employee nor the prospective employer, if they did, they would STOP wasting so much of other people's time.
There is, overall, a gross absence of professionalism to be found in this bogus company. The day I was referred, I submitted my resume directly to 1 guy, only for him to bombard me with negativity, discouragement and REALLY stupid questions. I don't think he has a thought in his head beyond "how can I ruin the remainder of this person's day." He gave me no straight answers, and did not provide adequate information about the position I had applied for. I left his little cabin with zero expectations.
A couple days later I was requested to appear at 2pm sharp for a 2nd round of interview. Keep in mind that I ALREADY GAVE MY RESUME to these people, and it contains my email address right at the very tippy top, along with phone number, etc. So I showed up at 2 sharp as instructed, and waited patiently for nearly 2 1/2 hours, only for another guy to tell me I need to go back home and fill out a lengthy, online job application!
So, the staff at Gratitude HAD MY RESUME ON HAND prior to telling me to come in at 2pm, they could and should have EMAILED ME this information and relevant links, instead of asking me to drop in under the false pretense of a 2nd interview and wasting over 2 hours of my time!
In addition, despite handing the 1st guy my resume during the 1st visit, the 2nd guy approached me about an hour and a half after I arrived for the 2nd visit and insisted that I email my resume to him, then and there, so I had to get on the company laptop and send him a digital format. He declined the hard copy in my bag! Then, about a half hour after I did this task, he comes to tell me he didn't get my resume! I had to TELL HIM to check his SPAM folder because he obviously did not have the presence of mind to do so. and THERE IT WAS!
Again I was sent back to the waiting area, then later I and some others were asked to come back to that company laptop and enter some personal data into an excel sheet because this lazy and thoughtless little pissant couldn't be bothered to just do the job he's paid to do. So, I did as asked. Then, at approximately 4:17pm, after I have wasted almost 2 and a half hours of my day with these people, the same little pissant, who didn't know to check a spam folder, informed me that I would have to go back home and do this ridiculous online application! I expressed my righteous indignation and he tried to BS me, saying he would get me on an interview call in another 10 minutes. I sat again, but quickly got back up and left. He had BSed me all day long, jerking me around and making false reassurances that I would have an interview call, so why should I trust him to waste another 10 minutes or more of my time?
If ever you are called for interview at this office, do your best to seek an alternative. The MNCs will sometimes outsource these HR recruitment tasks to multiple HR middle men companies simultaneously, so ask if you can go to a different HR recruiter instead of Gratitude.
