Gorai Beach - a worth visiting place. Review on Gorai Beach, Mumbai

Every individual looks for a quite and pleasant place to spent his/her weekend. Gorai Beach is situated away from Mumbai's chaos. However, it is not much far, it is a 15 minute drive from Mira Road. It is a worth visiting place with your loved ones.

How to get there?

The best travel is would suggest is by car, getting through the western express highway and move towards Mira road. Once you reach Mira road(east) crossing the Maxus Mall move straight and take the first left. The drive after that becomes very pleasant and romantic. The distance from there is just 15 minutes. I would warn not to over speed on this road as it is a single track road and avoid over taking on this road.

There is also an alternate way from Marve(Malad). This is a ferry boat travel which is also very good experience, we can take our bike along with us on this ferry boat, the distance from there is 30 minutes. I would not suggest to travel by public transport as it would cause delay in the travel and secondly you may face issues while returning home in the evening.

Atmosphere

The atmosphere is amazing there. Cool sea breeze and is roads are covered by dense trees as you move towards the beach. The best time is weekend evenings post 4 pm. About the Beach The Beach is Hugh and open it is suitable for playing with friends, picnics or just romantic walks with your partner. The beach is comparatively clean than the other beaches of Mumbai. The crowd is less which makes you feel free.

The Beach is flat and has black sand. This makes the ground and you can drive your car/bike on the beach. This black sand makes water also look black however the water on this Beach is clear. You can easily see your feet in the water. The shiny and colourful sea stones can be seen on this Beach.

Main attraction

The main attraction that I feel is the sunset view. It is fabulous, the sunset view makes you excited and creates an emotional effect towards your partner. Personal experience I had a very pleasant time whenever I visit this place. I enjoy driving on the lovely roads, the road are well maintained. A glass of Kalakhatta(Gola) on the Beach adds more fun. And last but not the least the sunset it is amazing.

There are lovely beach houses available at low cost for stays. Stay at this beach is heavenly for young guys. This place gets more excited on the new year's eve.

Pros

It is a clean beach which has a uniqueness of its black sand which is far away from the city chaos.

Cons

The travel towards the beach gets expensive specially when you are travelling with your car. The only good restaurants that one would find is at Maxus mall which is slight distant from the beach.

Conclusion

It is heaven for those whose you like to spent their valuable weekends in visiting pleasant places. For those who have never been there I would suggest to have a visit, believe me it is worth visiting.
