Well one more review on a not so famous restaurant. KanjurMarg is a place where I used to reside when my dad was working in navy and we were residing at kanjur naval staff quarters. Not often do I have veg, but on days when there are spiritual restriction Gopala's is my option.
The best advantage about this place is that this place is bang on LBS Marg, which is accessible from anyplace. Just 5 minutes walk from station and this place is quite famous. One reason being that it is a purely veg restaurant, and other reason being that Gopala's itself has started huge restaurant chains. There are two more outlets of Gopala's around Mulund.
This place is not that kid friendly, reason being that this place is over crowded as there aren't much good restaurants around kanjur serving good veg lunch and dinner.
Ideal for people loving Chinese but wish to have in veg. This place serves very good Chinese dishes and many prefer having Chinese dishes over paneer and stuffs because the Chinese dishes are quite delicious and the other stuffs are like just other places.
As said, this place has multiple outlet, and slowly and steadily Gopala's is becoming a good brand name.
Favorite item has to be anything into Chinese, and if you'd ask me to pick one dish I would say Mushroom Manchurian dry and if someone doesn't like mushroom than there are many more to pick from. Even veg Biriyani is good over here and it's fresh at any time of the day.
Food and presentation is good or one can even say very good considering the limited option one has in terms of veg food and accessibility.
The ambiance is not that great, and should be improved. Recently some renovation was been done and after that the ambiance has been improved to an extent.
The customer service is a bit delayed and one can expect it to be delayed due to the crowd and scarcity of descent veg restaurant around.
This place was a good option for me because it was bang opposite my colony. This place is being priced decently as cost for two is 500. Things that I liked about this restaurant was the food especially into Chinese, easily accessible to me, AC section is good, presentation of food was good and cards too are accepted. No sodexo coupons accepted. No need for prior reservation.
Things that I disliked about this restaurant, ambiance isn't that great, customer service should be improved.If your around LBS Marg, kanjur searching for some veg restaurant, Gopala's has to be the first option.
The best thing about the not so famous restaurants trying to establish themselves are that they try to give their best and keep their customers happy.
Hopefully the customer service and time of delivery improves, as well as the ambiance could be better. If both the alteration can be done then it would be a perfect place for lunch and dinner.
Conclusion:
One of the best places in terms of food in Kanjur Marg, Ambiance is not that great and has good value for money.
