Hi folks! Have u heard about a restaurant called ''Adarsh Mahal''? No, not yet?...... Then here is some information for my friends who are fond of authentic Gujarathi Thali.
This is a restaurant worth trying it out and then you may likely to become a frequent visitor. It is just 5 minutes away from CP Tank. This restaurant is on the first floor of a building in a lane near Gol Deval Temple on Ladi Bazar. The food served is a mixture of Rajasthani and Gujrathi specialities. The food here is delicious and the service is excellent. One gets the aroma of the food cooked the moment one enters the building. They have made every efforts to give a good ambience. But one may find this place little noisy because of the continuous instructions given by the supervisor to the waiters. The place is very spik and span and the food is hygenically served.
Now a thali consists of phulkas, bhakris, 5 varieties of sabjis, farsan, chutney, salad, papad, sweet dal, dahi kadhi, khichdi, rice and of course cold buttermilk. All this only for Rs. 50 and served unlimited. For extra sweet one has to pay Rs. 10 and it includes cham cham, srikhand, rosgullas, gulab jamuns, rasmalai, etc. But if you happen to be there on wednesdays you will be served puran pollis in the thali, without paying for it. I thoroughly enjoyed the food with my friends and I recommend all my friends to visit at least once.
