On 10th July, I had booked 2 tickets for Bom - Maa for the date of 12th July...my Father-In-Law and Brother-In-Law were going to Chennai as my FIL is a cancer patient and they were traveling for his treatment...but when on next day ie.on 11th July, I came to know that the ticket was of 13th July.


Flight booked on 10th July:

Indigo Airlines


Flight date - 13th July


Bom - Maa


PNR - IUNQNA


Flight No - 6E -136


Amount -Rs.9504/-


I called up your customer support and told everything to Ms. Anamika on 11th July. We told her that the ticket was punched for 12th July and we got the ticket for 13th July. It was a medical emergency. My FIL had to be there in Chennai on 12th as per his scheduled appointment. I told her to rectify the matter. As she was unable to help us out, she told that her senior Mr. Mohd. Shoaib will contact us for the same. Within some time Mr.Mohd. Shoaib called us.


My husband requested him that we don't need refund but to change the date of the flight. Mohd. Shoaib told us that he need to check whether the mistake was from us or from Goibibio. That will take 24- 48 hours...but we told him the urgency and try to understand the medical emergency....so he told meanwhile to book another ticket for Bom -Maa and if in their investigation, he comes to know that the mistake is from Goibibio, then he will refund us the money.


My husband told Mohd. Shoaib to book 2 tickets. He told us the ticket price is Rs.17235/-. We told him that earlier we booked the ticket for 9504/-. Then why we should pay higher price for the mistake which we had not done? Mr. Mohd Shoaib assured us that if they got to know that the mistake is from Goibibio side then he will refund us amount Rs. 17235/-. So for us, the ticket will cost the same ie 9504/-. So my husband transferred the amount Rs.17235/- through IndusInd credit card. Then he told us that the flight which we were looking for that is of 6.50 am is not in the Indigo website then he told that he will connect to Indigo people and ask, he kept us waiting and then told that the flight is overbooked so they had removed that from the website, so we told him to book flight of 10.30 am then he told that he is unable to book the ticket as website is taking longtime to open so he told us that he will connect us to direct Indigo Airlines and book ticket from them and meanwhile he raise a refund request for the amount that we had transferred him ie.17235/-.


One gentleman from Indigo Airlines was connected to us by Mohd. Shoaib via con call. Indigo guy told us that 6.50 am flight to Chennai is available and he will book 2 tickets for us and now the cost of the ticket was Rs.20777/-. He told us to do the payment through Indigo website. We transferred him Rs 20777/- through the same credit card.


Finally, we got 2 tickets from Bom - Maa for 12th July. Details of which are given below

Time - 6.50 hrs in morning


Amount -Rs.26739/- ( 9504 + 17235)


We didn't understand why the amount is 26739/- whereas we transferred him 20777/-.


Before ending the call husband again assured with Mr. Mohd. Shoaib that if they got to know the mistake is from their end he refund 20777/-.


Now when we are following them for refund, they telling us that you will get refund of only 17235/- they are not giving us proper detail of 20777/-. We were unable to cancel the ticket of 9504 as the PNR was same for both the tickets. It's almost 14 days yet the problem is not solved and Mr. Mohd Shoaib is not coming over the phone.


Pls pls. Don't book any tickets from Goibibo, they are fraud website.

Thank you for writing to us. As per the booking logs, the customer had selected 13th July ticket only. Hence we regret, we will not be able to provide any further refund on the same. The customer paid INR 20777 for the date change and the same was charged by the airline directly from customers card. We regret any inconvenience. - Team GOIBIBO
