Exactly as the title says! If you have a dream of having nice office chairs, tables and live work tension-free, NEVER EVER GO FOR GODREJ INTERIO. Their products are only good for banging your head on, they will make you do this in the due course.

The journey starts from 23rd March 2014 when I went to their website and checked the dealer/showroom in Jamshedpur(Tata) "STEEL CRAFT" and purchased an Office Chair and a Computer Table for 20k+, we live around 40kms away from the showroom so we carried the things with us.
We had a sign to stop when we were purchasing but we ignored that and till date not a single day has passed without cursing the company and dealer. The dealer was packing the item when we asked for the small pillars of table which were not present. To my surprise he refused to accept that any part is missing and only believed when we showed the broacher.

He charged us 200 for sending a person to assemble after 2-3 days and promised to send the missing part and the "pakka invoice" with him. You won't believe the person came only after 100+ calls in mid June 2014 and the whole time table was sitting in packing that also without invoice. That was 3 MONTHS WITHOUT ASSEMBLING FOR A PURCHASE OF 20K+ and 200 extra paid for coming to my place. The old man/jerk sitting on counter in "STEEL CRAFT" was said to have heart issue by one of their courteous staffs(Sardar Ji) and I didn't blast on him for all this holding my calm which was my fault(how? read later).
In a few days of use we found that one of the wheels of the table was not working properly, it was not locking and was not rotating properly. We thought to check for a few weeks as contacting these crooks was a hard task and we already had enough. Within 2 weeks the wheel lock broke down and it's always locked, I tried somehow it could come to unlock position so that I could avoid them, but it won't.

Finally on 6th August I called CC as I would do normally with a company that large and I was told we will get contacted in 48 hours and Complaint Number is 840885.

Called back CC to check status and was told give us next 48 hours. Called many times after this to only avail a number of Service Manage of Jharkhand in Ranchi - Narayan Vijay - 9431171778.
I called him and informed of the situation and gave the Complaint Number, he told very polietely that he will take care and will resolve things in a week, which is a long weeeeeeek he meant and has not yet completed.

Obviously this is not my only job so I got busy in things and suddenly a reminder flashed on my phone about the table. I called Narayan Vijay again and he was courtous enough to assure the assistance.

I went to STEEL CRAFT, Jamshedpur and first asked for the proper bill of things I purchased in March. You know that said buddha with heart issue whom I left that time, started shouting on me instead of apologizing. He told he won't give the bill to which I threatened to complaint in police and asked other staffs and then he agreed to give proper bill. I was amazed that how far people go to fake a health issue for excuse. He is a criminal!
Same day I called Narayan Vijay and he said he has taken up the issue to Mr. Vinod in Patna who is his senior and assured me that you go to steel craft and let me know if he sayd any bad, we will take care of it. Then I got a call from a Landline number of Patna 0612-6606144 claming Mr Vinod and said he will take up the issue on priority and will resolve it asap. Also, suggested to log a complaint there in Steel Craft which I did, knowing he won't do anything.

Knowing that it's Sunday, I still called this person Narayan Vijay and he told ok he remembers it but he can't do much as the company is not providing parts. In his language - "Sir, main to service me hoon, aap samajhiye maine Mr. Vinod ko bola hai wahi kuchh kar sakte hain". Then he said he will send me a message with Mr Vinod's mobile number immediately and asked to call tomorrow as he won't pick on Sunday.
After an hour, I called him again and told please send me the number as I didn't get it till now. This person came to his original face and told me roughly that - "Arrey Sunday ko to samjho yaar, main nahi doonga number jo karna hai kar lo". I WAS SHOCKED! This person was a bd, he was faking his attiutude of service till now. I replied - "boss, meri baat bhi samjho main 6 months se jhel raha hoon wo bhi paise de ke." to which he cut the phone saying again - he won't give any sht to it, do whatever you can.
WOW! Great Customer Service and What a Service Manager. To hell with this company, I am not going to give a penny of my hard-earned money to these Jockers ever in my life! To hell with your Brand Mr Godrej.

I shall update this tomorrow after I will have a word with Steel Craft, that Landline number in Patna and Mumbai Corporate Office with a link to this review.
I wish we had an easy system to drag these filthy people so that they knew the value of a customer. I am planning to take this issue to court with the help of my uncle who is an Advocate. Any advice is welcome.
