Ghost Ship... Review on Ghost Ship -2002 Hollywood Movie

Sit back and imagine what I’m about to tell you! You are a young girl, you are on a cruise ship in the late 60's, you are sitting in the ball room rather board. The Captain of the ship asks you to dance with him, so you give him your hand and together you begin to slow dance. The room is crowded, you are having a good time the beautiful singer at the front of the room sounds so beautiful in your ears. Then out of the blue with out a thought something so horrible happens. You look around you and all you can see are the other passengers bodies split in two. Some of them had their heads cut off, others were split in the middle. At first no one knew what just happened, they were still alive looking around and seeing others falling to the floor. Then you look up towards the Captain’s face to see if he is ok, and all of a sudden you see his face split and fall off from his mouth up. Everyone around you is dead, but some of their bodies are still shacking after they split in two. You begin to scream but who will hear your cries? Everyone was dead, or so you thought.

If that caught your attention then you have to go see the movie called Ghost Ship! What I just described above is how the movie starts off with. What a impact that will have on you. I had to rewind it like twice to get the full affect because it was so amazing to see what happened to those on that ship. Then the movie will skip into the future days 2003. A team of salvage people are in a bar and a man walks up to the Captain of the salvage crew and shows him a picture of a ship that he seen off the Gibralter Straights. He told the Captain that the ship keeps appearing and disappering and turning up in different parts of the ocean. The salvage crew decided they would go along and try to find this ship and tow it back. They figured it would bring them a lot of money since the ship was lost.

When they literally run into the ship the Captain realized what ship it was. He had heard stories about this ship. He said that it was found and when they went aboard there was no one on the ship. How it got back into the ocean is a mystery. When they arrive on the ship things seem ok, but all of a sudden little things start to happen. The little girl shows up and tells the lady from the salvage crew that they had better leave. The singer on the ship in the 60's shows up and ends up putting the moves on another salvage worker. All types of weird things start to happen. It seems like the Ghost’s were coming alive, and no one is going to be left alive.

I wont go into much detail cause I don’t want to ruin the story line and the ending of the movie, but let me just say that a lot of weird stuff happens, and you will soon find out what happened to the little girl who was left in the ball room after everyone on the ship had died. Or did everyone die? How does the little girl end up helping or destroying the salvage crew? Who survives this deadly ship? Watch the movie and unlock the mystery and horror that lies with in the Ghost Ship.

I wouldn’t recommend this movie to anyone who doesn’t like to see blood. This is also a “R” rated movie so small children shouldn’t watch! You tell me if the ending of this movie will led you to believe that just maybe there might be a Ghost Ship part 2! Comments are welcome.
