Some tine back I went to Simla for vacation, but that was very bad experience, someday I will share that too, but then traveler inside me has decided to drive uphill towards Khajjar, after having feedbacks from locals.
The best thing that happened to me that one gentleman gave me name and phone number of this resort, name GHAR.
The location of this resort is in such a beautiful surrounding, one side you can see snow capped mountains, huge trees, valley, clouds in the morning and evening.Well, Khajjar some day later,
Now, about Ghar's food, its awesome. They serve all known cuisine's with some special flavor. The genuine, authentic Himachali, roasted spices in mix veg as well as paneer dishes adds taste.
I chose to stay at first floor, so that we can have natural scenic feast, nonstop.The interiors of rooms are very simple.
Staff is very nice, friendly and prompt.
Each and every thing is kept clean, I was really impressed by the level of hygiene.
There is an apple orchard in Ghar's boundary. You can enjoy bonfires or camping at Ghar.
I recommend.
